We travelled well and the roads were not too bad and we made good time. Caleb was a real star as he had read all his reading matter and exhausted all his entertainment, but he kept himself busy the whole way and endured tired parents!
It was quite uncanny to look directly North on our maps from time to time to see where we had travelled previously on our way to Kuruman and Augrabies.
It's Jemma's birthday today and the party for the family was scheduled to start at 14h00 and we decided to gatecrash! We arrived at 14h15 much to Jemma's delight and had a quick cuppa before taking on the last stretch which turned out to be the hairiest of all with an accident (not involving us!) and 35 minute delay on the Ben Schoeman.

And so here we are: Home sweet home!
Grateful to God for His beautiful creation, His loving protection and His gracious provision.
Grateful too for all the people who made this possible for us by stepping into the gap - Glen, Jeanette, Craig, Susan, Lenti, Kevin and many others.
Grateful too for the number of people who gave us gifts for the trip and enfolded us in prayer for safe travels and good weather. It has been awesome!
