A cloudy cachey day

We knew that it was going to be a cloudy cooler day today, so we decided that we would go caching. But there had also been talk of a treasure hunt on the beach for the smaller kids.

Diana, Kathryn and Swantje put it all together and while she was doing that, Andrew and Theo got out the kites and pretty soon we had three kites in the air and the kids and adults digging on the beach for the treasures that had been hidden there. It was great fun!

After that we packed some lunch and headed off to do some caching. The first one was at a bridge which was used in the filming of the movie "Blood Diamond" and then to a butterfly farm. After that we had lunch at the Mpenjati Nature reserve where we did two very enjoyable caches.

Then we went off to Glenmore and Munster where we did two caches, one of which is opposite a famous wreck. By then we were tiring and decided to head back home stopping at a Wild West Museum (I kid you not!) to do one final cache.

The White Almera was shuddering and juddering a bit and so Theo got it booked in for a checkup - so its off to Shelly Beach at sparrows tomorrow morning...

The highlight of the evening was Holland beating Uruguay in the soccer...
