We started Tuesday very slowly, even the boys were content to lie in with an Asterix book. Caleb wasn't feeling so well, so he and Brenda stayed home while the rest of us went to Marina beach, but Diana got stung by a bee so Theo brought her back to get Celestamine and George was left to get all the sand off Brendon who resembled a crumbed pork chop! Thank goodness for the beach showers!
Then for lunch we enjoyed a big treat - the Waffle House! It's a restaurant that specialises in waffles both sweet and savoury and they are divine. The also make awesome cappuccinos! We had a lovely meal there and then Theo and Brendon walked home. While the rest drove. We also bought crocs for Caleb and Brendon.
The highlight of the evening was one of the two semi-finals where, rather surprisingly, Germany went down to Spain much to Swantje's disappointment.
