We started the day having a brekkie with George, Irene and Norman (a past Emmanuel member now living in Wilderness). Theo had a yummy monster milkshake. It was a lovely time together.
Then we packed up and spent a day thoroughly exploring the Garden route around Buffelsbaai, Knysna, Plett, Stormsriver and then arrived at a Caravan park on the Gamtoos River near PE. It was a day of pretty views, great music in the car and unrushed meandering.
The campsite was interesting: A grade A dairy farm (therefore no load shedding). We were able to pitch our tent 15m from the edge of the Gamtoos.
We got set up and made a quick supper. Sadly, our last night in the tent....
