Great VanDerKloof-Grahamstown Adventure Day9 Friday 21 April - Kenton to Grahamstown

We woke up to Glen and Jeanette's lovely Kenton home and after Breakfast took a long walk along the Bushman's river, all along the beach to Karige where Theo swam in lukewarm water!

Then we had a lovely braai with Glen and Jeanette enjoying lamb cutlets and boerewors and all the trimmings. It was such a special time and we found it hard to leave after tea in the afternoon.

We took a slow drive to Grahamstown, arriving with George and Swantje in the late afternoon. They've really settled in nicely and we stayed in their top spare room. Load-shedding and water shortages makes living in Grahamstown quite a challenge, but everyone makes a plan.

In the evening we had all the varsity buddies come for supper. It was fantastic to see John, Jen, Adele, Kev and their kids again. It was a beautiful evening of friendship, love and laughter.
