Our friend John Williams' Dad had passed away and the memorial service was on Saturday morning. It was so fitting that we could be there with them. We traveled down to Port Alfred with George and Swantje and it was a very special service. It is amazing, with friendships like John and Jen, we just pick up where we left off and so it was very meaningful that we could be with them.
Then we went off to the Ocean Basket with the Wellses but we sat inside because of the drizzle.
When we got back to Ght, George dropped Brenda off to visit Diana (and Tiggy) and they had a lovely catch up. She has the most beautiful views of Grahamstown from her flat! Theo did some shopping and filled the car up with fuel and fetched B.
We spent a quiet evening with the G&S and got an early night.
