Noordhoek, Fish hoek, Airport and Kleinmond

Mark got going early and we were still snoozing in the camper! Carol got going a bit later and so we said goodbye to her and the two kids. Jaryd rode down the driveway to the gate in the "biiig car" and smiled all the way - we had a really lovely visit with them!

Then we went off to Fish hoek and decided to park off at the beach a little and let Caleb have some fun. It was a gentle-breezed sunshine day and Caleb swam and we built sandcastles.

Then it was off to the home of the camper van to get some camping gear from our car and then to pick up Joan, Marinus and Jemma from the airport. They had been delayed twice over - once due to the late cancellation of a flight and then because their luggage had been placed on another flight! After some nerve frazzling queries, they got it sorted out and we were on our way.

We headed down to Kleinmond which is a much loved spot because we camped there when Brenda was pregnant with Caleb. We drove the road along Gordon's Bay at sunset. This gave us all kinds of deja-vu because we had previously (9 years ago) done the same road in the other direction at Sunrise. (Really wish a certain aging computer science Professor could have been with us!)

From here we will head back toward Cape Town taking in all the pretty spots (and GeoCaches) we can find along the way.
