but we pottered on the beach in front of the house and explored the rock pools. Caleb and Brendon made closer acquaintance with Jessica and Claire, Luke and Mark, and Eric.
The morning was spent collecting starfish, snails and assorted sea creatures for temporary aquariums (they all got returned to the rock pools later on) while Theo dealt with some critical admin issues and email.
George and Theo went cycling in the afternoon - a hilly 37 km - while the rest of the folk went walking toward Southbroom. There's a promise of better weather ahead.
