Day 3 - we swam and cached on the beach

Today was even nicer than the day before and so we headed off to the beach again! We swam and built golf-ball sand-castles to the delight of everyone who had never seen one of these. (You build a tall castle with a groove around for a golf ball to roll down and see how long and far you can get the golf ball to roll.)

While all of this was happening, Theo went to replace a geocache that had gone awol and then later everyone went to discover it and another cache sneakily hidden on Ramsgate beach. We also found the most amazing echo spot - a compass painted on the paving, where, if you face SW and talk gives you the most amazing resonance!

Theo also managed to buy two pairs of crocs (just like the one's he's been using for the last three years) for only R50 per pair - BARGAIN!

In the afternoon Theo and George went cycling while the boys and Brenda pottered around in preparation for the Germany game which was electrifying to watch!

After all the excitement, bed was very welcome!
